Skilled in the design and implementation of virtual asset AML and due diligence policies, able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and a licensed attorney.
Chris DePow is a seasoned compliance officer with experience crafting and implementing compliance policies that address financial crime in relation to cryptoassets, and has spoken extensively on the intersection of the traditional and decentralized financial systems.
Chris Joined Elliptic from a large financial institution, where he was a Vice President in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance Group of the Corporate and Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan, where he provided cryptoasset subject matter expertise to corporate and investment banking customers.
Previously, Chris provided KYC advisory guidance to the Corporate and Investment Banking line of business, focusing on US rules and regulations. Chris also has experience in Broker-Dealer Trade Surveillance and Asset Management compliance.
