Cyber insurtech Coalition partnered with HDI Global Specialty

Coalition, the Active Insurance provider designed to prevent digital risk before it strikes, announced a new long-term partnership with HDI Global Specialty.

Beginning in 2024, HDI Global Specialty will join Coalition’s Cyber and Technology E&O panel in Canada to provide insurance capacity.

The insurer will assume a quota share on all cyber insurance products Coalition provides in Canada, incepting on or after January 1, 2024.

HDI Global Specialty joins a well-respected group of global (re)insurers that have signed capacity deals with Coalition, including Allianz, Arch, Ascot, Fortegra, and Vantage.

Coalition also announced the formation of a dedicated $300M reinsurer, Ferian Re, in partnership with BDT Capital Partners.

Cyber insurtech Coalition has launched a new version of its Executive Risks Insurance products for not-for-profit organisations.

The newly launched Executive Risks insurance for not-for-profits is designed to provide automated underwriting data collection and real-time analysis with a streamlined application process, unlike the industry standard for Executive Risks applications.

Built on Coalition’s proprietary data collection platform and knowledge graph, which captures 48 trln monthly events, the Active Cyber Risk Model offers a more accurate picture of cyber risk for organizations and the broader economy.
