Tokio Marine Kiln, a London-based specialty insurance and reinsurance company operating through the Lloyd’s of London market, appointed Ben Sitki as an underwriter within its Cyber Reinsurance Solutions team, continuing the build-out of its cyber reinsurance platform.
Sitki brings close to two decades of reinsurance and insurance market experience to the role. He joins TMK from Guy Carpenter, where he most recently served as senior vice president.
Earlier in his career, he held underwriting and broking roles at Canopius and Willis Re.
His background includes a strong focus on structuring cyber solutions for clients operating across the Middle East and Africa.
That regional expertise positions him to support TMK’s efforts to broaden cyber reinsurance offerings beyond established markets.
Sitki reports to Cesar Silvestre, who said the appointment strengthens the team as demand for cyber reinsurance capacity continues to develop.
Silvestre pointed to Sitki’s experience in market development and client engagement as a fit with TMK’s expansion plans.
He added that Sitki’s understanding of emerging market requirements adds depth as TMK adapts its cyber reinsurance structures to meet changing client needs across regions.
The hire follows TMK’s launch of its cyber reinsurance offering in November. The platform builds on the insurer’s broader cyber strategy, including the rollout of TMK Cyber Ctrl and the earlier introduction of Enterprise Ctrl, positioned as a market-first product aimed at large, complex cyber risks.
