A nuclear engineer by training, with a passion for understanding complex systems via mathematical modeling. Over the course of my education and career, I’ve enjoyed the challenge of investigating systems as varied as neutron transport in a reactor to complex human-driven operational environments.
The approaches I’ve employed to understanding these systems are as diverse as the systems themselves, spanning everything from simple kinematics models to complex numerical solutions of partial integro-differential equations. My interests lie in continuing to explore new approaches to modeling and understanding new and different systems.
