Ghislain Le Cam, CFA, FRM – Senior Director, Analytics at AM Best
I am a Senior Director in AM Best’s Analytics division. Based in London, I have oversight responsibilities for ratings coverage across the EMEA region, with a focus on large international composite insurers and reinsurers. I am also a lead in steering AM Best’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) global agenda. I am a contributor to a number of external publications, and a regular speaker representing AM Best at insurance and financial services-related events.
I previously worked at the Financial Services Authority (the relevant supervisory functions now sitting with the Prudential Regulation Authority), covering the London insurance market, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris. With extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry across audit, financial advisory, regulation and credit rating, my areas of expertise include financial analysis, risk and compliance, and ESG.
I graduated from Paris IX Dauphine University where I gained a post-graduate diploma in finance. I have been a CFA charter-holder and a member of the CFA Society of the United Kingdom since 2012. I am also a certified Financial Risk Manager, and hold the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.
