Jayne Cunningham – Focus Group Leader – Environmental at Beazley
Jayne Cunningham is an Environmental Underwriter at Beazley USA, based in New York. She has over 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a focus on environmental liability and specialty underwriting. She joined Beazley in January 2010, where she has spent more than 19 years addressing environmental and climate-related risk for clients across sectors.
She has 23 years of Underwriting experience, with a primary focus on Environmental Lines.
Before Beazley, she held leadership roles at XL Capital, including Vice President for Equine & Livestock and Underwriting Manager for Environmental lines. At Zurich North America, she served for over eight years as Regional Manager in Environmental Impairment Liability. Her career began at AIG, where she worked as an underwriter from 1993 to 1997.
Jayne holds a degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She remains active in industry circles and is a member of professional insurance groups such as the Global Insurance Network and Insurance Journal. She frequently engages in discussions on sustainability, regulatory risk, and climate resilience.
