Jess Fung – North America Cyber Analytics Lead, Head of Analytics Sales – North America at Guy Carpenter
Jess Fung is an experienced actuary with a demonstrated history of working in the reinsurance industry for 20 years. She have broad P&C knowledge, where my expertise is in Cyber and Professional Liability.
Jess Fung is the Head of Analytics Sales – North America at Guy Carpenter, a role she began in February 2024. Previously, she served as the Managing Director and North American Cyber Analytics Lead at the same company. Jess has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, having held various leadership positions over her career.
Before her current role, Jess was the Global Strategic Advisory Centers-of-Excellence Director at Guy Carpenter. She also spent nine years at Willis Re, where she progressed from Vice President to Executive Vice President. Earlier in her career, Jess worked at Munich Reinsurance America as Vice President & Actuary and at Towers Watson as an Actuarial Associate.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Her work at Guy Carpenter involves enhancing cyber risk understanding and quantification through tools like the GC CyberExplorerâ„ DataLake, which aggregates global client data to aid cyber insurers in making informed decisions
