Paula Ferreira – CEO Latin America – Aon Reinsurance Solutions
Paula Ferreira is the CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions Latin America, based in Miami. In her role, she has full P&L responsibility. She leads the regional teams and resources, formulates client growth strategies, and fosters innovative products and services to help clients make better business decisions.
Previously, Paula was the President and Strategic Growth Leader of Aon Reinsurance LATAM, where she utilized the best of Aon to serve clients and business partners. This role included leading regional teams, client segments, specialty practices, and data & analytics.
Before that, she held various P&L responsibilities and client management roles at Aon, including Multinationals, Data & Analytics, and AHL Specialty Practice. Prior to Aon, she headed the Actuarial and Catastrophe Modeling Unit at Guy Carpenter for nine years, spending the first three years in Italy and the next six in Latin America, based in Miami.
She began her career at GenRe, where she was the Head of Life & Health for South America, based in Argentina. Paula is an actuary, graduated with honors from Buenos Aires University (Argentina), and holds a Master’s Degree in Health Management from Bocconi University (Italy) with a Cum Laude Diploma. She also worked for eight years at Buenos Aires University (1992-2000).
