Punil Chaubal – Associate Director at WTW
Punil Chaubal is currently serving as Associate Director in the Insurance Investment Team at WTW. His role involves overseeing investment strategies and advising insurance clients on optimizing their investment portfolios.
With extensive experience in the financial services sector, Punil Chaubal brings expertise in risk management and asset allocation, supporting clients in achieving their financial objectives. He is known for his analytical skills and deep understanding of investment markets, contributing significantly to WTW’s advisory capabilities in the insurance sector.
Punil is an Associate Director in the Insurance Investment Team at WTW, having joined in June 2022. Prior to joining WTW, Punil was a sustainable finance, capital and investments consultant at EY and led insurance solutions at River and Mercantile Solutions (now part of Schroders). He has held positions across capital, investments and risk for a number of insurance companies, including, Aviva, Direct Line Group and Generali.
Punil has over 12 years’ experience in insurance and investment management sectors, having worked with insurers to: Consider investment strategy design and implementation; Perform investment portfolio oversight, risk quantification, including market risk SCR modelling; Establish investment approaches to sustainable finance and set Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) strategies; and Provide fiduciary management solutions, including tactical asset allocation approaches.
