Allianz will continue as the Official Worldwide Insurance Partner for the Olympic and Paralympic Movements through 2032, covering the French Alps 2030 Winter Games and Brisbane 2032.
As the Official Worldwide Insurance Partner, Allianz will support the Olympic and Paralympic Movements for an additional Games cycle, which includes the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games French Alps 2030 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032 (Australia), uniting athletes and billions of fans in peaceful competition in the company’s 70 markets around the world.
Allianz manages risks, provides protection for organizers, participants and spectators, and supports athletes through mentoring and career opportunities.
The 2030 and 2032 Games will take place in two of Allianz’s core markets, France and Australia, which contributed more than 10% of the operating profit of Allianz in 2024.
Since 2021, Allianz has supported the Olympic Movement, covering Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026, and LA 2028. It has worked with the International Paralympic Committee since 2006 and became a Worldwide Paralympic Partner in 2021.

This partnership aligns with Allianz’s “Power of Unity” initiative, which fosters collaboration and connection.
Independent research found that 84% of the global audience followed the Olympic Games Paris 2024, reaching around 5 bn people. More than half of the world’s population watched Olympic athletes compete.
The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games set new records, with 169 delegations and 4,400 athletes. Coverage expanded to 225 Media Rights Holders, the highest ever. Global live TV viewing hours, excluding the host market, rose by 83% compared to Tokyo 2020.
Allianz CEO Oliver Bäte highlighted the impact of the Games, stating they united people through sport and strengthened the company’s brand and business. He emphasized the importance of extending the partnership through 2032, especially in a divided world.

IOC President Thomas Bach welcomed the renewal, praising Allianz’s support for athletes and its alignment with the Olympic vision of global unity through sport.
IPC President Andrew Parsons noted the partnership’s impact since 2006 and expressed confidence in its future contributions to inclusivity through Para sport. Jiří Kejval, Chair of the IOC’s Revenues and Commercial Partnerships Commission, recognized Allianz’s trust and commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Movements.

At Paris 2024, Allianz provided extensive insurance coverage, athlete support, and global campaigns connecting stakeholders.
The company secured the Games, protecting athletes, fans, and sports venues through services spanning 15 lines of business. It offered medical assistance to 155,000 athletes, staff, volunteers, and officials, ticket cancellation insurance for fans, and property and liability coverage for venues.
Through its “Get Ready for the Best” campaign, Allianz engaged audiences in 60+ countries, reinforcing its Olympic connection. Since the partnership’s launch in 2021, awareness has risen by double-digit percentage points, boosting brand likeability and purchase consideration.
Allianz also runs Team Allianz, supporting 100+ athletes with mentorship and financial literacy programs. Its MoveNow initiative promotes youth physical activity by expanding access to sports opportunities.
