At CoreWeave’s October 19 closing price of $61.12, the combined purchase was valued at approximately $8.1 mn. The estimate is based on the closing price rather than the funds’ actual execution prices.

Goldman Sachs upgrades CoreWeave despite financing concerns
Goldman Sachs analyst Gabriela Borges upgraded CoreWeave to Buy from Neutral on October 19, while reducing her price target to $106 from $139.
Borges argued that investors were overestimating CoreWeave’s future cost of capital and underestimating the potential improvement in returns on its computing infrastructure investments.
Goldman pointed to stronger pricing for AI computing capacity. CoreWeave increased prices by 25% in July and a further 10% in October, according to the bank.
The analyst nevertheless identified financing costs and changes in computing demand as continuing risks.
CoreWeave has faced growing scrutiny over the debt financing required to expand its data center operations.
Yields on the company’s bonds maturing in 2031 exceeded 16% during the previous week, indicating substantial concern among credit investors.
CoreWeave has more than $51 bn in debt and obligations. CEO Mike Intrator defended the company’s financial position in an internal memorandum, stating that its contracted revenue backlog more than covered those obligations.
Max Frumes, global head of distressed and leveraged finance at 9fin, warned that the pressure could extend to other companies financing AI infrastructure expansion. Frumes expects borrowing costs to increase and investors to apply greater scrutiny to AI-related debt.

Palantir expands federal cloud partnership with Knox Systems
Ark’s latest Palantir sale followed the company’s October 19 announcement of a partnership with Knox Systems to accelerate software deployment across US government and defense agencies.
The agreement focuses on organizations operating in environments subject to Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) requirements and Impact Level 5 (IL5) security standards.
Knox Systems supports more than 100 AI and enterprise software applications and provides infrastructure designed to meet federal security requirements.
Palantir contributes its experience deploying commercial software through accredited government infrastructure.
The companies intend to help software providers obtain the necessary security authorizations and shorten deployment times for applications used by government and defense customers.
Palantir shares closed at $194.15 on October 19, while CoreWeave finished at $61.12.
Ark’s latest trading disclosures show continued accumulation of CoreWeave shares during a period of elevated credit market pressure, alongside further reductions in its Palantir position.
