Cysurance partnered with 360 SOC, a cyber provider of response services

Cysurance, a firm focused on risk mitigation and certifying security solutions, has partnered with 360 SOC, a provider of managed detection and response services. The goal of this partnership is to offer enhanced cybersecurity protection, supported by a significant warranty.

Under this agreement, 360 SOC clients will receive coverage through Cysurance’s Certification Warranty programme. This initiative blends cybersecurity solutions with warranty and insurance coverage, offering financial protection.

Warranty Coverage The programme provides up to $500,000 in reimbursement in the event of a breach. These funds can cover costs such as legal fees, regulatory expenses, ransomware recovery, and business email compromise. Business email compromise involves scams that target companies engaged in wire transfers.

Kirsten Bay, CEO of Cysurance, explains that the warranties can be applied to cyber insurance deductibles or other expenses following a security incident or breach.

360 SOC clients will have fast access to discounted cyber insurance policies from established carriers. This combination of managed IT services, cybersecurity, and insurance aims to lower the frequency and impact of cyber-attacks.

Chris Ichelson, CEO of 360 SOC, highlights that his company delivers customised security solutions that integrate with an organisation’s existing infrastructure.

Implications for Fintech For fintech firms dealing with sensitive financial data and strict regulations, this partnership provides a comprehensive cybersecurity solution. By integrating technical security measures with financial protection, the partnership addresses both aspects of cyber risk management.

The Cysurance Certification Warranty adds an extra layer of assurance for organisations using 360 SOC’s solutions. This certification demonstrates resilience and provides financial backing during crises.

360 SOC specialises in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS). These services involve continuous monitoring using advanced technologies like machine learning, along with expert analysis. Their offerings include Network Detection and Response (NDR), which monitors network traffic, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), which secures individual devices.
