Cytora adds InformData people data to insurance workflows

Cytora, the digital risk processing platform for commercial insurance, has partnered with InformData to add verified people data to commercial insurance risk workflows.

The agreement connects InformData’s people data network with Cytora’s digital risk processing platform. Commercial insurers using Cytora will receive verification insights during submissions, renewals, claims and mid-term adjustments, without moving those checks outside existing risk flows.

Cytora said the partnership supports its plan to enrich every incoming risk with external data sources. For InformData, the deal expands access to commercial insurance workflows where carrier teams need faster checks, cleaner records and stronger evidence around the people linked to business risk.

The data will sit inside Cytora’s platform, where insurers digitize incoming risks, append external information, apply rules and route cases to downstream underwriting systems. Some risks go through automated handling. Others move to underwriting teams for manual review.

The companies said insurers will use the added data to make faster and fairer decisions across the commercial policy lifecycle.

Verified people data also gives carriers more support against fraud, compliance breaches and weak identity signals tied to business submissions.

The partnership extends into risk monitoring. Insurers and commercial organizations gain ongoing visibility into enterprise risk, including potential insider cyber exposure. According to Cytora, this helps teams spot vulnerability earlier and reduce uncertainty around the people behind a risk.

Juan de Castro, COO at Cytora, said InformData gives commercial insurers a fuller view of risk beyond property and peril data. He said placing verified people data directly into digital risk flows supports faster and more accurate decisions while keeping compliance standards high.

InformData provides a powerful way for commercial insurers to have a complete view of risk, extending beyond property and peril data to encompass the foundational element of people data.

Jackie Rousseau-Anderson, CRO at InformData, said commercial insurance needs speed and trust. She said embedding InformData’s people data into Cytora’s AI workflows gives insurers a trusted data layer for assessing the people behind commercial risk.

Cytora provides a configurable platform for commercial insurers to process risks with greater efficiency and accuracy. Its system digitizes incoming risk data, adds external sources, evaluates submissions against rules and routes them to underwriting systems.

The platform uses AI and large language models pretrained for commercial insurance. Cytora said this structure supports fast enterprise deployments and scalable risk processing for carriers dealing with complex commercial submissions.
