LTY gains Akiden Ventures as investor and expands Swiss insurance platform

Swiss insurtech LTY has brought Akiden Ventures into its shareholder base as a minority investor, with entrepreneur Steve Savioz joining its board of directors. The investment is intended to support the expansion of LTY’s insurance advisory and digital services across French-speaking Switzerland, followed by German-speaking regions of the country.

The transaction comes as LTY strengthens its insurance distribution infrastructure, develops proprietary artificial intelligence capabilities and integrates SPS, an established insurance advisory business, into its operations.

  • Akiden Ventures SA has acquired a minority stake in LTY SA, with founder Steve Savioz joining the company’s board of directors to support expansion across Switzerland.
  • LTY is developing its proprietary AI module with Swiss research institute Idiap and plans to strengthen its insurance advisory teams, digital platform and commercial insurance capabilities.
  • The integration of SPS brings additional insurance specialists into LTY, while former Neho executive Vincent Privet will join the company’s operational and strategic development in January 2027.

LTY founder and CEO Betim Ramosaj described the investment as an opportunity to accelerate development of both the company’s technology and its advisory network.

Akiden’s arrival gives us the means to invest in both our advisory teams and our platform. The two go hand in hand: the platform simplifies our advisers’ daily work, giving them more time to support our clients.

Betim Ramosaj, LTY founder and CEO

LTY has been developing its business model and technology platform since 2013. The company considers Akiden’s investment recognition of its profitable operating model, established technology and the team responsible for developing the business.

Akiden Ventures investment supports LTY’s Swiss expansion

Akiden Ventures was founded in 2016 by Steve Savioz and invests in businesses with significant development potential. Its investment approach combines financial backing with direct involvement alongside management teams. The firm’s business ecosystem includes Neho, Bright, Euranka and Akidimmo.

Savioz’s appointment to LTY’s board adds entrepreneurial and business development experience as the company prepares to expand its operations and distribution capabilities.

Vincent Privet, formerly Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Neho, will also become involved in LTY’s development. Starting in January 2027, he will contribute to operational and strategic management, with a focus on structuring the company’s growth.

The additional resources will support recruitment across LTY’s insurance advisory teams, faster development of its digital platform and expansion into new geographic markets.

LTY intends to increase its presence throughout French-speaking Switzerland before extending operations into German-speaking Switzerland.

The company also plans to improve interactions between customers, insurance providers and advisers through a connected digital infrastructure covering policies, insurance quotations and claims.

Its operating model combines personal insurance advice with technology intended to reduce administrative requirements and give advisers more time to work directly with customers.

LTY develops proprietary AI technology with Idiap

Artificial intelligence forms part of LTY’s technology development strategy. The company is working with the Swiss research institute Idiap, with support from the Fondation The Ark, to develop a proprietary AI module designed to support more proactive insurance risk management.

LTY intends to develop the technology in Switzerland and integrate it into its existing digital infrastructure.

That infrastructure includes proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, alongside customer-facing platforms that connect insurance information and operational processes.

The AI project is intended to build on these interconnected systems, allowing the company to improve how it supports customers in managing insurance risks.

The investment from Akiden Ventures is expected to provide additional resources for joint development of the AI module and its integration into LTY’s services.

Alongside AI development, LTY plans to accelerate improvements to its customer platform, making it easier for policyholders to monitor insurance contracts, review offers and manage claims.

The company maintains that its digital platform and advisory services are complementary. Technology is intended to support advisers rather than replace their role in providing insurance guidance.

SPS integration strengthens insurance advisory capabilities

LTY is also expanding its operations through the integration of SPS, an insurance advisory business with an established customer base and a longstanding focus on personal service.

The integration allows SPS to operate within LTY’s technology infrastructure while maintaining its existing customer relationships.

For SPS customers, LTY says the transition will preserve continuity of service, with the same advisers remaining responsible for their accounts.

Customers will progressively gain access to LTY’s digital services, including online insurance policies and documents, simplified procedures for insurance requests and claims, and other functions available through the company’s platform. These services are already used by insurance customers across French-speaking Switzerland.

For SPS, joining LTY provides access to a broader product range from leading insurers, a modular cloud-native platform and proprietary CRM and ERP technology.

The systems are designed to reduce administrative workloads and allow advisers to concentrate on customer relationships, insurance advice and ongoing policy management.

The integration is also intended to provide a more structured operating environment for advisers and more consistent insurance administration for customers.

Insurance specialists join LTY’s advisory and commercial teams

The SPS team will take on several roles within LTY, covering customer advice and specialist corporate insurance services.

  • Yasmina Pagnier, who holds a Swiss federal professional qualification in insurance, joins LTY as administrative manager and corporate insurance specialist.
  • Doug Ramosaj, who also holds a Swiss federal professional qualification in insurance, joins the advisory team as a corporate insurance adviser.

His responsibilities will include supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, self-employed professionals and companies operating across French-speaking Switzerland.

The appointments expand LTY’s internal expertise in business insurance while maintaining the customer relationships developed by SPS.

The company intends to combine these specialist capabilities with its technology infrastructure to improve insurance administration and provide more structured customer support.

LTY plans wider access to its insurance technology

The integration of SPS forms part of LTY’s strategy to make its technology available to a wider range of insurance market participants.

In addition to businesses seeking to improve their insurance management, the company is progressively opening its infrastructure to independent insurance brokers, property management companies, fiduciary firms and other professional partners.

These organisations will be able to use LTY’s technology to centralise and digitalise insurance administration while maintaining their individual business identities and customer relationships.

The model is designed to give smaller or independent market participants access to integrated CRM, ERP and customer platforms without requiring them to develop comparable systems internally.

LTY’s expansion strategy therefore covers both its own insurance advisory activities and the provision of technology infrastructure to other businesses operating within the insurance sector.

The addition of Akiden Ventures, the planned involvement of Vincent Privet and the integration of SPS provide additional investment, management experience and specialist insurance capabilities for that strategy.

With its existing platform, proprietary AI development project and expanded advisory teams, LTY plans to extend its operations across Switzerland while making its insurance administration technology accessible to a broader network of industry participants.
