PB Fintech has launched PB Pay, its payment aggregator platform for merchants in India. The service is now accepting merchant registrations and processing transactions after receiving authorization from the Reserve Bank of India in February 2026.
PB Pay consolidates several payment methods into one integration and merchant dashboard. Supported options include UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and digital wallets.
The platform also supports EMI payments and recurring transactions. These include UPI Autopay, e-Mandates and card-based subscriptions.
PB Fintech said the service draws on more than a decade of payment processing experience within the group. Much of that experience was developed through its insurance operations, where recurring premiums and payment mandates require continued monitoring.
Insurance transactions also operate under financial-sector regulatory requirements. PB Pay is applying those systems to merchants operating in other sectors.
The company said merchants often rely on several payment providers to support different transaction methods. That setup requires separate integrations and dashboards, while failed transactions and disputes may need to be managed across different systems.
PB Pay is designed to combine those processes within a single platform. Merchants can use one API to access recurring payment options across credit cards, debit cards and UPI.
Harsh Masta, CEO of PB Pay, said the company is initially placing particular attention on autopay and affordability products. The platform brings recurring payment methods into one flow while also supporting EMI and financing options.
PB Pay includes card-based EMI products and pre-approved offers. It also connects merchants with affordability services provided through non-bank financial companies and other lenders.
Another feature is a rules-based transaction routing engine. The system selects between available gateways based on factors including expected approval rates and processing costs.
The routing function is intended to reduce dependence on any single payment provider. PB Pay said transactions can be redirected when one gateway experiences weaker performance or service problems. Merchants also receive a dashboard covering transaction monitoring and analytics. The same interface supports dispute handling and vendor payouts.
Security measures listed by PB Pay include PCI DSS compliance and ISO 27001 certification. The company also uses 256-bit encryption and continuous transaction monitoring for suspected fraud.
PB Pay said its infrastructure follows a Zero Trust security architecture. Transaction risk controls are designed to identify suspicious activity while allowing legitimate payments to continue.
Merchant onboarding includes business verification and API access. Companies can test their integration in a sandbox environment before beginning live transaction processing.
Pricing information is available directly through the PB Pay platform. The company said merchants can move from registration to payment acceptance after completing the required verification and technical setup.
PB Pay marks PB Fintech’s expansion beyond its existing insurance and credit businesses into payment processing. The company is positioning the platform as a single payment infrastructure layer for merchants handling one-time and recurring transactions.
