Vouch, a business insurance provider for high-growth companies, has acquired the team and book of business from StartSure Insurance Services and expanded its offerings for startups and flexible workspaces through an acquisition.

Alongside the acquisition, Vouch secured the first close of its Series D funding round, led by Allegis Capital, with participation from all major existing investors.

This investment reinforces its position as a key InsurTech provider for high-growth businesses and strengthens Vouch’s brokerage capabilities and supports the development of new insurance products.

Vouch offers business insurance designed for startups with a digital-first approach. Its product range includes errors and omissions (E&O insurance), cyber liability coverage, and directors and officers insurance. By integrating technology, the company streamlines underwriting and improves accessibility for founders.

“We’re empowering lettings agencies throughout the UK to take control of their tenant referencing, increase their operational efficiency, and create new revenue streams.”

StartSure has developed proprietary managing general agent (MGA) programs for coworking and inventory insurance. Its insurance solutions focus on startups and flexible workspaces, simplifying coverage without unnecessary complexity.

As part of the acquisition, StartSure’s team, including CEO Tim DiPietro, will join Vouch. StartSure’s clients will gain access to a broader range of insurance products through Vouch’s brokerage team, while Vouch’s customers will benefit from StartSure’s MGA programs, particularly in coworking and inventory insurance.

Vouch CEO Sam Hodges stated that the Series D financing and the acquisition of StartSure enhance Vouch’s ability to serve high-growth businesses with innovative insurance solutions. He highlighted StartSure’s experience in startup and flexible workspace insurance as a strong complement to Vouch’s mission.

Through this Series D financing and joining forces with StartSure, Vouch is expanding our capabilities to provide unmatched service and innovative products to high-growth companies. StartSure’s expertise in insuring startups and flexible workspaces aligns perfectly with our mission, and our latest funding will allow us to expand our brokerage capabilities and develop new insurance products.

StartSure CEO Tim DiPietro noted that Vouch is a natural fit for the company, emphasizing a shared commitment to simplifying insurance for founders.

“Vouch is a natural home for StartSure. We share a commitment to making insurance simple and accessible for founders. Joining forces means our clients will benefit from expanded resources, broader coverage options through Corix, and Vouch’s reputation for exceptional service,” Tim DiPietro says.

With support from Allegis Capital and the addition of StartSure’s expertise, Vouch is expanding its reach to ensure startups at all stages can access high-quality insurance coverage.
