Ana Boata – Head of Economic Research Allianz Trade
Ana Boata joined Euler Hermes in 2012 as an economist specializing in European markets. In 2018 she became the Head of Europe Research and SME thematic research and in 2019 Head of Macroeconomic Research.
Ana received the 2018 Best Forecaster Award for the Eurozone from Consensus Forecast, and her team has been ranked among the top 10 best forecasters worldwide for two consecutive years by Focus Economics. She gives regular interviews to international Tier-1 media on global topics, with a focus on Europe and Brexit.
She also teaches macroeconomics at Paris Dauphine University and country risk analysis at Sciences Po Paris. Before joining Euler Hermes, Ana spent two years as an economist at Exane BNP Paribas. She is an alumna of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas.
