Andreas Jobst – Head of Macro & Capital Markets Research Allianz SE
Andreas (Andy) Jobst is Global Head Macroeconomic and Capital Market Research at Allianz SE. Prior to this he was Senior Economist of the European Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and was Adviser to the Managing Director and CFO of World Bank Group (2016-19).
Andy also worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Central Bank (ECB), the Bank of England, and Deutsche Bank (London). Andy holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and was also educated at Oxford, Cambridge and Leicester.
Experienced economist with a demonstrated history of working in international financial and monetary policy and development. Responsibility for short-term market surveillance and macroeconomic forecasts as well as analyzing long-term trends and developments, with a focus on the insurance industry.
