Javier Santiso – CEO and General Manager, Mundi Ventures

Javier Santiso is the CEO and General Partner of Mundi Ventures, an international venture capital fund managing over €500 million in assets. The firm invests in deep tech, climate tech, IoT, cybersecurity, AI, industrial internet, insurtech, and fintech across Europe and the USA.

Before founding Mundi Ventures, Santiso led European and global tech investments at Khazanah, Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund with $50 billion in assets. During his tenure, he invested in companies like Farfetch (London), Skyscanner (Edinburgh), and Auto1 (Berlin).

Santiso serves as an independent board member of FNAC Darty in Paris and Prisa in Madrid, the owner of El País, La Ser, and Santillana. He has invested in several unicorns, including Wefox (Berlin), Bolttech (Singapore), Shift Technology (Paris), Job&Talent (Madrid), and Betterfly (Miami).

He is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in Davos and founded Club Mundi, a network of over 750 Spanish and foreign executives working abroad and in multinational companies linked to Spain.

Regarding the Madrid metropolitan area, it is the most populated in Spain and one of the busiest in Europe, with a total population of 7.3 million inhabitants. It includes cities such as Leganés, Getafe, Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Alcalá de Henares, Alcobendas, and Majadahonda.
