Researching and generating feature articles, online content, press releases, and marketing materials for newspapers, magazines, and university marketing departments.
Providing communication and administrative support for the office of the vice president for Graduate Education: researching and drafting internal reports, developing and analyzing student and employee surveys, collecting data on university best practices, organizing and hosting various university conferences and special events.
In addition to my regular duties, I designed, edited and helped launch The Advisor, a web-based newsletter for current and prospective graduate students. I also constructed several new university web pages, incorporated online social networking strategies into the department’s communications plan, and helped design and facilitate the movement of exit surveys from traditional to online format.
