• The management of the Reinsurance Underwriter modelling team
• Producing in depth narratives and enhanced modelling output for key accounts
• Communicating with underwriters to ensure that the modelling output is correctly interpreted and utilised
• Research and development activities
• Supporting the deployment and incorporation of updates and new models
• Overseeing the training of new and junior team members
• Development of the modelling output and modelling reports with the aim to increase its value for underwriters and the company
• Modelling catastrophe excess, pro rata, Terror and per risk programmes
• Importing detailed exposure into Risklink
• The cleansing of global aggregate data for import into Risklink and Catrader
• Using SQL to querying client provided EDMs to assess their data quality and accuracy
• Using SQL to manipulate Risklink databases (EDM & RDM) to enhance modelling outputs
• Contributing towards the RDS and regulatory reporting requirements
• Actively contributing towards the development of the modelling function
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external contacts.
