Niece Motorsports, an American professional stock car racing team that primarily competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and Acceptance Insurance, a U.S.-based auto and personal lines insurer that provides affordable coverage for drivers and households nationwide, confirmed that Andrés Pérez de Lara will return to the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado for the full 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series schedule.
Acceptance Insurance joins as the program’s anchor partner and will appear as a primary sponsor in select races.
Veteran crew chief Wally Rogers remains atop the pit box as Pérez de Lara enters his second season in the series. Continuity mattered here. The team didn’t hesitate.
Pérez de Lara is 20. His rookie Truck Series season followed a 2024 ARCA Menards Series title, a résumé line that keeps turning heads in garages and front offices alike.
According to Beinsure, teams place growing weight on drivers who show restraint early. He fits that profile.
He said the partnership signals trust at a moment when momentum counts. Acceptance, he added, backs drivers at multiple levels, a message that landed personally as he prepares for a longer, tougher schedule.
Niece Motorsports, one of the longer-tenured operations in the series, brings race wins, playoff appearances, and a reputation for developing young drivers.
The organization framed Acceptance’s arrival as a natural add-on to a program already built around patience and repetition.
Cody Efaw, the team’s CEO, said Pérez de Lara’s upside stays obvious and sponsor support like this sharpens execution on race weekends. No grand promises. Just expectations.
For Acceptance, the deal marks its entry into NASCAR through a wider commercial strategy inside the sport.
The company is using established teams and emerging drivers to introduce the brand to racing audiences during its first season in the paddock.
Cesar Soriano, CEO of Acceptance and Confie, said Pérez de Lara reflects the mindset the company associates with its customer base. He pointed to drive and consistency.
“This collaboration with Andrés and Niece Motorsports is an important opportunity for our brand,” said Cesar Soriano, CEO of Acceptance/Confie. “Andrés embodies the drive, character, and resilience that reflect our customers and our values. we look forward to an exciting season ahead.”
The season opens under the lights at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 13. Coverage airs on FOX Sports 1 and the NASCAR Racing Network.
