Drayden Insurance, a subsidiary of McDougall Insurance Brokers, has acquired Norwest Insurance Agencies, continuing its expansion in Alberta.
Recent acquisitions include CJ Campbell Insurance in Calgary, De Luca Insurance Services in Edmonton, and Darson Insurance Services in Stony Plain. The Norwest transaction, based in Edmonton, did not disclose financial terms.
Catherine Cake, president of Drayden Insurance, highlighted the compatibility between the two firms.
Norwest and Drayden are a perfect fit. We both prioritize industry-leading service standards, maintain a personal approach, and serve a loyal clientele.
Drayden has assured stakeholders of a smooth integration process. McDougall Insurance CEO Ross McDougall noted shared values as key to the acquisition.
“Norwest is a family business, and family is central to our organization,” he said. “We are proud to welcome Norwest into the McDougall Insurance Group as we continue to grow in Alberta.”
Earlier in January 2024, Drayden acquired Darson Insurance Services in Stony Plain. This move aims to strengthen Drayden’s services and expand its presence in Alberta.
Drayden emphasized meticulous planning to ensure seamless integration. Catherine Cake remarked on the strong alignment between the companies, further reinforcing their shared vision.
