Flarre AI launches agentic AI platform for insurers

Flarre AI announced the general availability of its agentic AI platform built for insurers, with specialized AI agents designed to work with business, technology and operations teams. The platform targets underwriting, claims, billing, new implementations, migrations and system changes.

The startup combines its proprietary Insurance Knowledge Graph, configurable Agent Studio, orchestration layer and pre-built point solutions into one operating stack for insurance enterprises.

Flarre AI is an insurance-native agentic AI platform built to de-risk the SDLC and create efficiency across insurance operations, enabling insurers to execute core system implementations, improve rating accuracy, and perform product and policy changes faster with higher quality, security, and confidence.

The company built the platform across three layers.

  • The first layer handles AI orchestration. It coordinates multiple models and multi-agent systems for high-volume insurance workflows, especially work with heavy rules, logic and documentation. It also gives carriers visibility into model behavior, execution and cost.
  • The second layer is the Insurance Knowledge Graph. Carriers add their own knowledge to it, and the graph embeds product structures, rating logic, eligibility rules, plus state and country-specific regulations into every agent. That gives each workflow insurance context instead of generic model output.
  • The third layer handles execution. It includes ready-to-use AI agents and point solutions across the insurance value chain. Flarre AI said those agents accelerate software delivery across several insurance platforms.

Together, the three layers give insurers AI agents that understand core insurance systems and support faster implementations, migrations and modernization work.

The same platform supports business analysis, rating, underwriting and claims through AI-native products without weakening data security.

Insurers build and deploy purpose-built products for their own operating needs. Flarre AI said delivery takes weeks, using an open and extensible AI platform. Carriers also bring their own LLMs and hyperscalers, with Flarre AI fitting into existing technology environments and prior AI investments.

The platform supports more than 25 lines of business across property and casualty, life and annuity. Those lines include auto, property, D&O, cyber, life insurance, group benefits, disability and retirement products.

Every AI agent operates inside the Insurance Knowledge Graph. That gives carriers one control plane for traceability and auditability, which matters in regulated insurance work where model output needs review, context and a record.

Flarre AI encodes product structures, underwriting rules, rating logic, regulatory requirements and policy lifecycle flows across lines, states and countries. The platform includes AI agents for human roles across underwriting, actuarial, development, business analysis, QA and claims.

Production deployments show up to 70% faster delivery and efficiency gains across implementation, migration and modernization work, according to Flarre AI.

Anand Kamat, Co-Founder of Flarre AI, stated any AI moving into insurance production needs to answer three questions: whether the agent follows instructions, whether data stays inside the carrier’s environment and whether token costs remain controllable. He said Flarre AI addresses those issues by design, using a secure environment and company context encoded in the knowledge graph.

Insurers have already deployed the platform at more than 6 carriers across North America, APAC and ANZ. The company now offers it to other insurers as a licensed standalone product or through agentic delivery services.

Under the delivery services model, Flarre AI agents work on implementation and migration tasks alongside human insurance experts. Product, IT, transformation, actuarial, claims and PMO teams deploy the platform into existing workflows in core systems such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, Origami Risk and EIS.

Flarre AI describes itself as an insurance-native agentic AI platform built to reduce SDLC risk and create operating efficiency across insurance workflows.

The company says its platform helps insurers execute core system implementations, improve rating accuracy and complete product and policy changes faster, with stronger quality controls, security and confidence.

The platform preserves project intent from design through deployment. It also supports continuous delivery with traceability and quality controls built into the process.
