Guidewire confirmed a definitive agreement to buy ProNavigator, the AI-powered knowledge management platform, aiming to fold its insurance-trained intelligence into the broader Guidewire ecosystem.

That means smarter search, sharper context, and faster retrieval of information for underwriters, claims adjusters, agents, brokers, and service reps. More efficient communication, fewer mistakes, better decision-making.

ProNavigator, launched in 2016, built a reputation by helping insurers centralize and deliver knowledge at scale. Its platform gives sales, service, underwriting, and agent teams quick access to critical data, rather than scattered resources.

The insurtech startup pulled $13.5 mn in funding. With 34 insurance customers across the U.S. and Canada, ProNavigator is helping carriers, MGAs, and brokers work smarter, move faster, and serve better.

Closing is expected in Q2 of Guidewire’s fiscal 2026, subject to the usual legal checks and balances. Nothing flashy about that, just the standard deal-making process.

Mike Rosenbaum, CEO of Guidewire, cut straight to the value: “ProNavigator, inside of Guidewire, makes every insurance professional an expert. Joseph D’Souza, who founded ProNavigator, sounded equally bullish. “By delivering role-specific insights in real-time, we’re reshaping how insurance professionals access knowledge.”

ProNavigator first entered Guidewire’s orbit through the Insurtech Vanguards incubator, so the relationship wasn’t new. This acquisition feels like the natural continuation, or maybe the acceleration, of that link.

For Guidewire, the move represents a push deeper into intelligent solutions that actually deliver measurable improvements in insurance operations.
