Marsh has acquired Triton Insurance Agency, a Newport, Rhode Island-based brokerage specialising in marine and yacht insurance, expanding its capabilities in the high-net-worth personal insurance market.
The acquisition will become part of Marsh Agency, strengthening its presence in coastal markets and broadening its specialist marine insurance offering. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2011, Triton provides insurance solutions for high-net-worth individuals, focusing on yacht, hull and other marine risks. The agency has developed a diversified client portfolio and maintained consistent historical growth.

Triton Insurance team joins Marsh Agency
Bob Peck, CEO of Triton Insurance Agency, and the agency’s employees will join Marsh Agency while continuing to operate from their existing Newport office.
Peck said the transaction would give Triton access to Marsh Agency’s resources while maintaining its established client relationships and local operations.
