Xceedance, a global provider of technology-driven business solutions for the insurance industry, said it has acquired Marble Box, a move that pulls the firm directly into the agent and broker operating layer of the insurance market.
For Xceedance, this marks a shift. The company steps beyond carrier-focused services and into the distribution machinery itself, where agencies and brokers still wrestle with aging processes, mismatched systems, manual handoffs, and carrier data that rarely lines up cleanly.
The friction shows up everywhere – rework, blind spots, scaling pain during renewals. Xceedance says it plans to tackle those limits directly, starting with operations, not software demos.
Marble Box arrives with boots already on the ground. The company supports more than 30 agency workflows across 140-plus agents and brokers, processing millions of transactions each year.
Its delivery team operates out of Kolkata, India, and focuses on repeatable execution paired with a detailed understanding of how agency work actually gets done.
According to Beinsure, that operational literacy is often the missing piece in agency modernization efforts.
Xceedance plans to layer its technology and data engineering capabilities onto that base. Over time, the combined platform is expected to bring standardized workflows, system-to-system data connectivity, and greater use of automation and AI.
The aim is fewer manual steps, tighter controls, clearer audit trails, and real-time visibility into agency operations.
Peter Flynn, senior vice president for the Americas at Xceedance, said the acquisition sets the foundation for a different operating model for agents and brokers, one focused on speed and predictability rather than patchwork fixes. He described the deal as a deliberate push to set market expectations higher.
Prashant Tekchandani, executive vice president for insurance lifecycle and operations at Xceedance, framed the strategy more bluntly. Agency operations, he said, grew inside a fragmented ecosystem that still depends heavily on human glue to hold processes together.
We are excited to welcome the Marble Box team to Xceedance. Together, we will reimagine distribution operations from the ground up, delivering a new standard for speed, control, and client experience.

Xceedance starts with people who understand the work, then backs them with data, automation, and practical tooling to tighten control and improve reliability.
The company expects the combined offering to appeal to agencies and brokers looking for steadier service levels, room to flex during peak periods, and a clearer path forward. The pitch isn’t technology for its own sake. It’s execution, scaled, with fewer surprises.
