Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh,announced today that Matt Stadler, President of its Southwest region, has been named to the additional role of CEO.
In this role, Mr. Stadler reports to David Eslick, Chairman and CEO of MMA, and succeeds Bill Henry, who has been appointed Chairman of the region.
As CEO of the Southwest region, Mr. Stadler is responsible for providing overall leadership for the region that consists of 13 offices across Texas and Louisiana, and more than 1,100 colleagues. Based in Dallas, he will also continue to focus on business development and building an engaging environment for employees.
Stadler will be based in Dallas. He will drive the firm’s national strategy through acquisitions, client relations, talent growth, and scaling best practices. He will report to David Eslick, the chairman and CEO.
Stadler brings 20 years of experience in employee benefits and property/casualty insurance. He joined Marsh McLennan Agency in 2015 as executive vice president after the acquisition of MHBT Inc. He became president of MMA Texas in 2019 and CEO of the Southwest region in 2023.
In his new role, Jeatran will focus on mergers and acquisitions, special projects, and managing key carrier partnerships. He joined Marsh McLennan Agency in 2011 after leading RJF Agencies Inc. for 25 years.

He became president of Marsh McLennan Agency in 2017 and will continue to report to Eslick.
Rob Bridges, the current president of the Southwest region, will succeed Stadler as CEO of the region. Bridges has over 25 years of insurance experience and previously worked at Chubb Insurance and Wortham Insurance, which was acquired by Marsh in 2018. He will be based in Austin.
