McDougall Insurance Brokers Limited (McDougall Insurance) has acquired Cornell Insurance Brokers, a brokerage based in Markham. This acquisition represents another step in McDougall’s growth strategy within the Canadian insurance market.
Cornell’s brokerage team will now operate under McDougall Insurance, aiming to strengthen services across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and expand nationwide.

Cornell’s leadership will remain in place, with co-CEO John Beadle and vice president Patrick Hogan continuing their roles. Co-CEO Mike Hannan will retire after completing the transaction.
