Pentiv, the new operating brand of Pineapple Financial Inc. (NYSE American: PAPL), has launched an intelligence platform for mortgage agents and brokerages, marking a shift toward broader commercialization of its technology across independent brokerage networks.
The company also appointed Usman Maher as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.
Pineapple Financial’s shares will continue trading under the PAPL ticker until the anticipated transition to PTIV on NYSE American, expected on or around October 26, 2026. The corporate name change to Pentiv Inc. remains subject to shareholder approval at an upcoming meeting.
The platform builds on technology, permissioned data and operational workflows developed within Pineapple Financial’s existing mortgage network.
Rather than replacing established loan origination systems, Pentiv operates above existing infrastructure, bringing brokerage information and workflows into a unified system designed to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
The company’s initial applications focus on mortgage agent recruiting and alternative-mortgage renewals. Its development roadmap includes onboarding, customer retention, borrower engagement and additional brokerage management functions.
Pentiv is pursuing an asset-light operating model supported by a growing base of recurring platform revenue. The strategy is intended to extend its software business beyond the economics of operating a single mortgage brokerage network.
Pineapple Financial will remain the operational foundation for the platform, serving as its initial customer and testing environment. This arrangement allows Pentiv to develop, evaluate and refine products using actual brokerage workflows before offering them to external customers.
The company is also maintaining a digital asset treasury and broader treasury strategy to support its longer-term technology plans.
Pentiv expects artificial intelligence and blockchain-based financial services to become increasingly interconnected. Its treasury strategy is intended to support its participation in the blockchain infrastructure associated with that anticipated convergence.
The platform’s focus differs from conventional mortgage technology, which typically concentrates on automating individual loan processes, including origination, underwriting, document management and funding.
Pentiv instead targets brokerage-level operations, using integrated data and workflow management to support recruiting, renewals and customer relationships throughout the brokerage lifecycle.
The launch establishes the company’s software commercialization strategy while retaining Pineapple Financial’s operating network as the foundation for product development and deployment.
