Canadian P&C managing general agent Revau has entered a strategic partnership with Texas-based MGAs Brazos Specialty Risk Insurance and Twenty Mile Insurance Services.
- Brazos specializes in trucking insurance, while Twenty Mile focuses on construction-related liability products.
- Revau contributes data analytics, capital support, and digital infrastructure to the partnership, according to the official announcement.
The agreement expands Revau’s operational footprint in the U.S. and strengthens its position in the North American specialty insurance market.
CEO Jean-François Raymond described the deal as a significant step in Revau’s transition from a regional MGA in Canada to a broader market participant.
This is an incredible milestone for Revau, marking our evolution from a small regional MGA with ambitious goals to an industry leader expanding beyond Canada
Jean-François Raymond, president and chief executive officer of Revau
The financial terms were not disclosed. Revau declined to comment beyond the statement.
Tom Spitalny, president of Brazos, and Christopher Polk, president of Twenty Mile and CEO of both companies, will retain leadership roles and continue with their teams under the combined structure. Integration efforts are already underway, covering underwriting, claims, technology, and corporate culture.
Under the deal’s cash-and-equity structure, leadership teams at Brazos and Twenty Mile will become shareholders in Revau to support long-term alignment.
Revau stated the partnership will enhance its ability to detect risk trends, improve decision-making speed, support innovation, and raise efficiency.
The expanded company aims to offer stronger support to carriers and brokers and create additional career paths across the organization.
