Wonderful raises $550 mn Series C at $5 bn valuation

Wonderful has raised $550 mn in a Series C funding round at a $5 bn valuation. Insight Partners led the financing, with participation from Salesforce and existing investors Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners.

The round follows Wonderful’s Series B in March 2026. Since then, the company has expanded into more than 35 markets and grown its workforce to 650 employees.

Wonderful has also developed its platform into what it calls an AI operating system for enterprises. Customers use Wonderful AI OS to automate workflows, develop AI-native applications and coordinate AI agents across business functions.

The new capital will support product development and expansion of Wonderful’s deployment teams. The company also plans to increase capacity as demand for enterprise AI implementations grows.

Wonderful is extending its AI operating platform across insurance underwriting, claims, servicing and compliance for P&C, life and health insurers.

For sales and underwriting, Wonderful applies AI to risk assessment, identity verification and policy recommendations. The platform also supports real-time quoting and can be used to process higher volumes without requiring insurers to increase staffing at the same rate.

Claims functions cover intake, triage and validation from first notice of loss through settlement. Wonderful also supports fraud detection and liability assessment, with decisions recorded for later review.

CEO and co-founder Bar Winkler said companies often start with AI in one business area before extending it into others. He argued that organizations need shared infrastructure to manage AI systems across departments without creating fragmented technology environments.

Wonderful AI OS coordinates AI agents, workflows and applications within one platform. It also manages business knowledge, integrations and governance requirements across those systems.

The platform is designed to work with different technology stacks rather than tying customers to one model provider. Companies can select models for individual workloads while keeping existing infrastructure and retaining ownership of what they build.

Wonderful’s product suite includes managed workflows for automating multi-step business processes. It also offers productivity agents for employees and conversational agents used in customer-facing functions.

AI-native applications form another part of the platform. Wonderful said these applications are designed to replace or supplement conventional enterprise software for specific business processes.

The products can operate separately or within the same workflow. Governance, security controls and platform administration are applied across the broader AI environment.

CTO and co-founder Roey Lalazar said Wonderful designed the system as a modular platform so customers don’t need to replace existing technology before adopting AI. He said organizations can integrate individual components with current systems and choose different models for different workloads.

Wonderful also uses forward-deployed engineers who work directly with customers during initial implementations. Those teams help put early use cases into production before transferring knowledge to internal customer teams.

The AI OS supports cloud deployments as well as on-premises installations. Wonderful said this gives organizations more options when working with existing security and governance requirements.

Insight Partners co-founder and managing director Jeff Horing said Wonderful is targeting the operational layer required to deploy AI across larger organizations. He said the company has already moved initial deployments into production with major enterprises across multiple markets.

The latest round gives Wonderful additional funding for international expansion after rapid growth since March. The company now operates in more than 35 markets, employs 650 people and is positioning AI OS as infrastructure for managing enterprise AI across multiple functions.
