AI-enabled insurance distribution platforms Bold Penguin and bolttech have formed a global strategic partnership to offer commercial and personal lines capabilities to agents, insurers and embedded insurance partners across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
The partnership brings the companies’ commercial and personal lines capabilities into a joint offering. Both businesses said the arrangement will allow them to concentrate further on their existing areas while giving customers access to connections and services across the two platforms.

The companies said the partnership will support insurance distribution across both product areas while combining technology, carrier connectivity and existing distribution relationships.

Schimek said the companies plan to provide distribution partners and customers with a more connected insurance experience across their respective platforms.
Peter B Settel, president and CEO of Bold Penguin, said the partnership supports the company’s international expansion and gives existing U.S. customers access to bolttech’s personal lines solutions through a single interface.
Settel also pointed to bolttech’s work in embedded insurance distribution and its international presence as reasons for the partnership. He said the combined offering will give shared customers additional options across commercial and personal lines.
