EigenRisk adds GeoX data for 186 mn US properties

EigenRisk, a provider of catastrophe risk management solutions, has added GeoX property intelligence to its EigenPrism catastrophe risk management platform. The integration gives (re)insurers, MGAs, brokers and risk managers access to AI-derived property attributes covering more than 186 mn commercial and residential properties across the US.

GeoX data is available directly within EigenPrism, allowing users to supplement existing exposure records with additional building information. The companies said the integration supports property-level analysis across individual risks and insurance portfolios.

“GeoX further deepens the data ecosystem we’re building in EigenPrism,” said Deepak Badoni, President and Co-Founder of EigenRisk. He said underwriters, brokers and analysts can combine their exposure data with AI-derived building attributes within the same platform.

Property data quality affects how insurers assess catastrophe exposure at submission. Missing or inaccurate building characteristics can influence pricing, risk selection and estimated loss potential.

GeoX provides nationwide US coverage, including rural locations, with data refreshed within a 12-month period. The company also reports API response times of less than one second for accessing property information.

The dataset is designed to give insurance teams additional information on building characteristics before comparing those properties with existing books of business. Users can apply the data to underwriting, claims analysis and portfolio-level risk assessments.

Jacob Grob, EVP of US Markets at GeoX AI, said the integration gives users a parcel-level view of insured properties. He said combining GeoX imagery analytics with EigenRisk’s platform reduces the need for manual property checks when reviewing large portfolios.

GeoX uses imagery analysis and AI to produce property information across its US database. Its platform also generates 3D property attributes and combines proprietary datasets with generative AI for underwriting-related analysis.

The integration is now available to all EigenPrism users. EigenRisk said its platform currently includes data from more than 40 providers covering catastrophe analytics, hazard information and property characteristics.

EigenRisk provides catastrophe risk management software for insurers and other risk organizations. GeoX, founded in 2018, develops AI-based property intelligence for insurance and other location-based applications.
