Freeway Insurance extends NASCAR sponsorship with Spire Motorsports for 2027

Freeway Insurance has renewed and expanded its sponsorship agreement with Spire Motorsports for the 2027 NASCAR season, continuing its support of Daniel Suárez while extending its involvement across additional racing programmes.

The insurance distributor will remain the anchor partner of Suárez’s No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series. The new agreement also adds sponsorship appearances in the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series and brings Suárez’s teammate, Carson Hocevar, into the company’s marketing activities as a brand ambassador.

  • Freeway Insurance has renewed its partnership with Spire Motorsports for 2027, remaining the anchor sponsor of Daniel Suárez’s No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series.
  • The expanded agreement includes additional NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series sponsorships and appoints Cup Series driver Carson Hocevar as a Freeway Insurance brand ambassador.
  • The renewal follows Suárez’s 2026 Coca-Cola 600 victory and extends a relationship spanning more than six years, including community engagement and grassroots racing initiatives.

The expansion follows a successful 2026 season that included Suárez’s victory in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Freeway’s participation in Spire Motorsports’ grassroots development programmes.

Our partnership with Spire Motorsports and Daniel Suárez has been instrumental in connecting Freeway Insurance with NASCAR fans and the communities we serve.

“We’re excited to build on that success in 2027 by welcoming Carson Hocevar as a brand ambassador and expanding our presence in the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series. These opportunities allow us to reach new audiences, strengthen relationships, and continue growing the Freeway brand.”

Freeway Insurance describes itself as the largest and fastest-growing personal lines insurance distributor in the United States. The company operates through neighbourhood offices, digital services and telephone support, helping customers compare policies from multiple insurers and identify coverage suited to their requirements and budgets.

Its NASCAR sponsorship activities are intended to connect the insurance brand with racing audiences and local communities through driver appearances, events and fan engagement.

Freeway has maintained a relationship with Suárez for more than six years, organising school visits, public autograph sessions, race-weekend gatherings and cultural celebrations. These activities have placed particular emphasis on engaging Hispanic NASCAR fans while creating opportunities for broader participation among racing audiences.

The company’s involvement expanded during 2026 through its partnership with the Spire Motorsports Ascent Program, supporting connections with fans at the grassroots level.

The 2027 agreement builds on those activities by adding further Truck Series sponsorships and incorporating Hocevar into Freeway’s promotional efforts.

Hocevar, who won the April 2026 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, will join Suárez in representing the insurance brand.

The arrangement broadens Freeway’s visibility beyond its primary Cup Series sponsorship and creates additional opportunities to engage audiences across NASCAR’s racing categories.

Daniel Suárez continues six-year partnership with Freeway Insurance

Suárez’s relationship with Freeway Insurance has been central to the company’s NASCAR activities, combining race sponsorship with community engagement.

The 33-year-old driver has competed regularly in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2017 and has established a record of 356 starts over 10 years in NASCAR’s premier division.

His career includes victories at Sonoma Raceway in California, Atlanta Motor Speedway in Georgia and Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

Since his Cup Series debut, Suárez has recorded three pole positions, 27 top-five finishes and 83 top-10 results, leading a total of 949 laps.

His 2026 campaign with veteran crew chief Ryan Sparks has included a Coca-Cola 600 victory, three top-five finishes and eight top-10 results.

The performance also secured a place in the Chase, NASCAR’s 10-race playoff format. At the time of the announcement, Suárez stood 13th in the championship standings, 39 points outside the top 10, with three races remaining on the 2026 schedule.

“Having Freeway Insurance continue with me at Spire Motorsports means a lot,” said Suárez. “We’ve been together for six years, and I’m proud of the relationship we’ve built. This sport is all about having people who believe in you and want to grow with you, and Freeway has been a big part of my journey. Winning the Coca-Cola 600 this year was big for me, the team and Freeway Insurance. I’m looking forward to having more moments like that one. The best is ahead.”

Sparks will continue as crew chief for the No. 7 team in 2027, with Suárez scheduled to return to Daytona Beach, Florida, in February for the Wheatly Vodka Clash and the 69th running of the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Spire Motorsports partnership extends beyond Cup Series racing

Spire Motorsports President Bill Anthony said Freeway’s involvement has extended beyond its primary sponsorship of Suárez to include the team’s other racing operations.

Freeway Insurance and Daniel have been writing a story together for six years, and we’re honored the latest chapter is being written at Spire.

“Winning the Coca-Cola 600 together made it one worth telling. Freeway’s connection didn’t stop with Daniel. They embraced everyone here and also backed our ARCA, Truck and dirt programs along the way. We don’t take that kind of commitment lightly. We’re grateful to have them back and excited to chase more special moments, while finding more and better ways to showcase the spirit of Freeway and connect them to fans.”

The renewed agreement maintains Freeway’s established association with Suárez while adding Hocevar and increasing the company’s presence in the Truck Series.

It also continues the sponsorship strategy developed during 2026, when Freeway supported Spire’s Cup Series operations and expanded its engagement with grassroots racing through the Ascent Program.

For 2027, the partnership will combine the No. 7 Chevrolet’s Cup Series sponsorship, additional Truck Series races and driver-led promotional activities, extending Freeway Insurance’s presence across multiple parts of Spire Motorsports’ racing operations.
