David Molony leads Aon’s Cyber Solutions for the EMEA region, where he advises global clients on cyber risk, insurance strategy, and operational resilience. With over 14 years at Aon, David has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Cyber Risk EMEA and EMEA TMT Industry Leader. He specializes in cyber threat management, insurance structuring, and executive engagement in cybersecurity strategy.
David regularly contributes to industry dialogue on the evolving nature of cyber risks—particularly AI-driven threats, systemic vulnerabilities, and the growing insurance protection gap. He is a featured expert on Aon’s On Aon podcast and a frequent voice in discussions about resilience planning and cyber readiness at the board level.
He holds a degree in Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin, with a focus on international business and political theory. David is based in Amsterdam and is active in global insurance and reinsurance networks.
