Patrick Brooke, FIA – Head of UK Cyber Analytics at Gallagher Re
Patrick Brooke is an experienced cyber reinsurance actuary and analytics leader, currently serving as Head of UK Cyber Analytics at Gallagher Re in London. With more than a decade of actuarial and consulting expertise, he has developed deep specialization in cyber risk modelling, pricing, and reinsurance strategy.
Before his current role, Patrick worked as a Cyber Reinsurance Actuary at Gallagher Re (2021–2024) and spent over three years at Willis Towers Watson as Associate Director in Strategic Risk Consulting, focusing on pricing optimization, ERM, and actuarial functions.
Earlier in his career, he gained risk consulting experience at Tokio Marine Kiln and actuarial expertise at Allianz Insurance, where he worked on pricing, reserving, capital modelling, and product launches.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries after further study with the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries.
Patrick frequently shares insights on cyber development patterns, ransomware risk, and insurance market dynamics, contributing to industry discussions on how evolving threat actor tactics impact claims development. His work emphasizes the importance of data-driven underwriting and the need for adaptive modelling in a fast-changing cyber risk environment.
