Thierry Corti – Climate Change Lead Swiss Re Institute

Thierry is a climate change and natural catastrophe expert with 20 years of experience in climate science, natural catastrophe modelling and corporate sustainability.

In his current role, he oversees the integration of climate change and other macro risk trends into Swiss Re’s natural catastrophe Property business.

Further development of Swiss Re’s Sustainable Business Risk Framework. Renewal of the company-wide sustainability strategy together with all key internal stakeholders. Representing Swiss Re in important external associations, initiatives and events.

Thierry holds a Master’s degree in environmental science and a PhD in climate science from ETH Zurich.
