Aon names Jane Drummond global chief commercial officer

Aon reported Q3 2025 net income attributable to shareholders of $458 mn

Aon has appointed Jane Drummond as global chief commercial officer, effective Jan. 1, 2027, as the insurance and professional services group reshapes senior commercial leadership.

Drummond will report to Andy Marcell, deputy CEO and SEVP for Risk Capital and Human Capital, and will join Aon’s Executive Committee. She will be based in Chicago and succeeds Anne Corona, who became CEO of North America in March 2026.

In the new position, Drummond will oversee Aon’s global go-to-market strategy and sales execution across its Global Solution Lines. Her remit also covers growth initiatives built around large client relationships and commercial programs spanning the firm’s regional businesses.

She will chair Aon’s Global Growth Committee, which brings together regional and solution line chief commercial officers with leaders from Sales Enablement, Marketing and Bid / Proposal Management. The group will coordinate commercial priorities across Aon’s businesses and support execution across markets.

Jane is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of driving growth, advancing client value and building high-performing teams

Marcell cited her insurance experience, international background and work across client solutions as reasons for the appointment.

Drummond joined Aon in 2009 and has more than 25 years of experience across insurance and risk. Her background includes risk management and risk finance consulting, alongside senior work in sales and marketing.

During her career, she has worked with large multinational companies across several industries, advising clients on risk issues and insurance programs. Her experience includes major global accounts and complex insurance placements, as well as consulting work for companies operating across multiple markets.

Drummond currently serves as chief commercial officer for Asia-Pacific. In that role, she works with country CEOs and sales leaders on new business development, major client relationships and commercial performance across the region.

She also oversees Aon’s Strategic Account Management team in Asia and the Aon Global Client Network. Those responsibilities have given her direct exposure to multinational accounts, insurance solutions and risk consulting across several markets.

“Aon’s strength has always been its ability to bring the best of our firm together to help clients address increasingly complex challenges,” Drummond said. She added that her priorities will include stronger commercial capabilities, deeper client relationships and sustained growth across Aon’s global business.
