International law firm Clyde & Co has appointed insurance litigator Greg Worden as a partner in its Seattle office, expanding its insurance coverage, bad faith litigation and appellate capabilities in Washington state and across the Pacific Northwest.

Worden joins from Lewis Brisbois with more than 30 years of experience representing insurers throughout the claims lifecycle, including coverage analysis, insurance defense, complex litigation and appeals.

His practice includes coverage disputes, bad faith claims, coverage opinions, examinations under oath and advisory matters involving regulatory and litigation risks.

Worden has extensive experience representing insurance carriers in Washington, including arguing cases before the Washington Supreme Court.

The appointment strengthens Clyde & Co’s ability to advise insurers operating in one of the more complex insurance litigation jurisdictions in the United States, where evolving legal standards and regulatory requirements create significant challenges for carriers.

Washington continues to be a challenging and fast-evolving jurisdiction for insurers, and Greg brings the local insight, technical excellence and courtroom experience needed to help clients navigate increasingly complex coverage and bad faith issues.

Dan Worker, partner and chair of Clyde & Co’s North America insurance practice

Worker said the appointment would enhance the firm’s ability to assist insurers from initial coverage assessments through trial and appellate proceedings.

Worden has longstanding relationships with major North American insurance carriers and has advised insurers on high-stakes claims disputes and regulatory matters throughout his career.

Clyde & Co’s reputation as the world’s leading insurance law firm, combined with the strength of its US platform, creates a compelling opportunity to help clients address increasingly complex risks and claims challenges.

Recent expansion has included office openings in Indianapolis and Northwest Indiana in 2026, Dallas in 2025, Boston in 2023, Calgary in 2022 and Arizona in 2021.
