CRC Group has launched Insurisk Cyber, a new cyber and technology insurance product combining several liability coverages under one policy form.
The product sits within CRC Group’s Insurisk platform and targets organizations exposed to cyber incidents, technology failures and professional liability claims. Coverage is backed by insurers carrying AM Best ratings of A- or higher, according to CRC Group.
Insurisk Cyber combines Cyber Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions and Miscellaneous Professional Liability coverage. CRC said the structure is intended to reduce the need for clients to purchase separate policies covering related digital and professional exposures.
Policyholders also receive active threat monitoring without an additional charge. CRC has paired the insurance product with discounted access to several cyber risk management services, including secure software development monitoring and tools addressing ransomware or data theft.
Employee security awareness training and compliance resources are available through the same offering. The additional services are intended to give insureds access to risk controls before an incident produces a claim.
Insurisk President Alex Bonds said businesses across most industries face rising cyber risk as attacks become more frequent and technically advanced. He said Insurisk Cyber was developed to combine insurance protection with claims support and preventative services in one product.
Bonds added that bringing cyber liability, technology E&O and professional liability into one form gives brokers a simpler structure for clients with overlapping exposures.
Shannon Roth, Insurisk’s Head of Financial Lines, said the product combines broad insurance protection with specialist underwriting and risk management services. She said the structure is aimed at companies operating with significant cyber or technology exposure.
The program is intended for a wide range of technology-dependent companies, including businesses carrying substantial technology E&O risk. CRC said underwriting standards will remain selective despite the broad scope of eligible exposures.
The launch adds another product to CRC Specialty’s underwriting portfolio as demand grows for insurance covering cyber events, technology services and professional liability under connected structures.
CRC Group said Insurisk Cyber was developed around those overlapping exposures, giving brokers one policy framework for risks that often cross traditional coverage boundaries.
