AON, a global professional services firm, announced Denise Perlman will join the firm to lead the middle market segment practice in North America, effective April 1.
As CEO of Aon’s Middle Market, North America, Perlman will lead a team focused on addressing the complex needs of middle market businesses.
In this role, she will be responsible for developing innovative and effective solutions for middle market clients across Risk Capital and Human Capital.
In addition, Perlman will apply industry relevance and work alongside Aon Business Services to deliver exceptional middle market service capabilities. Perlman will report to Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions and North America for Aon, and will be based in New York.
“We are thrilled to welcome Denise to Aon’s middle market segment practice in North America. Her experience and proven track record make her the perfect fit to drive our efforts in this critical market,” said Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions and North America for Aon.
Midsize businesses are under increasing pressure as they balance more limited resources with the need to remain competitive and resilient. With Denise’s leadership, supported by our industry-leading team, we are well positioned to help our clients make informed decisions and mitigate risk and people issues.
Perlman brings a depth of cross-industry expertise to Aon in addition to a passion for innovation and capability-building. She has experience harnessing data and analytics to support client decision-making, a skillset that is aligned with Aon’s commitment to delivering new tools and technology for clients and to the firm’s 3×3 Plan.
Perlman joins Aon from Marsh McLennan Agency where she was most recently president of the national business insurance division.
Aon is committed to expanding its presence in the fast-growing middle-market segment, which was a key driver behind its acquisition of NFP last year, its work with the National Center for the Middle Market and its continued investments in next-generation talent and capabilities.
In this role, Perlman will collaborate with NFP under the firm’s independent and connected strategy.
