INSHUR has added Guy Farley, co-founder and former CTO of ManyPets, to its UK board of advisors as it ramps up efforts in AI-driven and autonomous vehicle insurance.
Farley helped build ManyPets into one of Europe’s most prominent insurtechs through an API-first infrastructure strategy.
His expertise in scaling tech platforms will now guide INSHUR as it pushes deeper into mobility services and emerging transport markets.
Farley reflected on the achievements of ManyPets, emphasizing its end-to-end, cloud-based pet insurance technology stack.
The system is API-centric, serverless, and capable of deploying updates 20-30 times daily into production. The company’s use of AI and machine learning, supported by a robust MLOps environment and data warehousing, has been a key differentiator, enabling rapid iteration and innovation.
The appointment comes after INSHUR’s most recent funding round, which set aside a significant share for research and development in artificial intelligence and AV insurance.
The company designs insurance products tailored to ride-hailing, delivery, and other on-demand commercial transport services, with embedded distribution a central pillar of its growth.
Dan Bratshpis, INSHUR’s CEO and co-founder, said Farley’s background aligns perfectly with the company’s mission to create insurance infrastructure for mobility—today’s drivers and tomorrow’s autonomous fleets.

“His work creating API-first platforms mirrors our own mission to build the insurance infrastructure for the future of mobility – from today’s on-demand drivers to tomorrow’s autonomous fleets,” said Dan Bratshpis.
Farley added that INSHUR is tackling some of the toughest challenges in mobility insurance, with AV coverage and embedded partnerships representing both technical hurdles and major opportunities.
Guy Farley said, “INSHUR is tackling some of the most complex challenges in mobility insurance. Their focus on embedded partnerships and their vision for insuring autonomous vehicles are both ambitious and timely. The technical hurdles are significant, but so are the opportunities.
I’m excited to support the team as they push the boundaries of what commercial auto insurance can be.

His arrival is expected to sharpen INSHUR’s technology strategy and strengthen its roadmap for scaling in fast-moving markets where insurance must adapt to new models of transport.
