AI insurtech Lemonade announced its 8th annual 2024 Giveback, marking the eighth year of donations to various local and global charities selected by customers.
Giveback brings total donations to over $10 mn across 86 organizations, affecting millions worldwide.
In 2024, Lemonade donated $2.11 mn to 43 nonprofits globally, supporting causes in healthcare, education, climate, global poverty, and animal rights. Customers choose their Giveback nonprofit when signing up for Lemonade renters insurance, homeowners, car, or pet insurance policies.
The 2024 Giveback supports transformative projects globally and in the U.S. For example, Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit improving access to quality education, will use their Lemonade donation to build a school in Ghana, benefiting over 200 students annually.
Objective Zero Foundation, a volunteer-based organization, will provide PTSD support to 24,500 American service members, veterans, and family members via the Objective Zero app.
New Story, addressing the global housing crisis, will fund new homes for 100 families in Jalisco, Mexico.
Social impact has been a key focus for Lemonade since the beginning. The $10 mn donated since our founding highlights the significant difference companies like ours can make. Giveback demonstrates the community’s power to drive meaningful change, and we are very proud of that.

The Lemonade Giveback has grown 3,873% since 2017:
- Supporting over 1 mn students and teachers with tools and resources through organizations like Teach for America and Robin Hood.
- Providing meals to 624,693 people in need via nonprofits such as Feeding America and City Meals on Wheels.
- Supplying clean drinking water to over 40,000 people through projects like new wells and taps via charity: water and Pencils of Promise.
We’re honored to partner with Lemonade, bringing clean drinking water to over 28,000 people since 2017
