Novatae Risk Group, the wholesale division of World Insurance Associates, a full-service specialty insurance brokerage, managing general agency and program manager, has acquired Specialized Program Solutions, a managing general agency based in Chester, New Jersey. Terms of the transaction, completed Aug. 1, 2026, were not disclosed.
Founded in 2022, Specialized Program Solutions specializes in underwriting, marketing and program administration for long-haul trucking risks across the U.S.
The MGA has built its business around combining technology, real-time data and underwriting discipline within commercial trucking insurance.
Christopher Daggett, chief executive officer of SPS, said the company has sought to change how trucking insurance is underwritten. Joining Novatae gives SPS additional resources to advance that strategy and expand its work in the market.

Giordano Halleran Ciesla provided legal counsel to Novatae. No additional advisors or diligence firms were disclosed.
