Canadian AI insurtech Quandri raised $12 mn in a Series A funding round

Quandri, a Canadian AI startup improving how insurance brokerages and agencies handle servicing work, raised $12 mn in a Series A funding round, bringing its total funding since 2021 to over $20 mn.

Framework Venture Partners led the round, with continued support from FUSE and Defined Capital, and a new investment from Intact Ventures, the venture capital arm of one of North America’s largest property and casualty insurers.

The funding will support Quandri’s expansion across Canada and the United States as it accelerates its go-to-market strategy, increases investment in AI and engineering, and grows its team.

As part of its growth, Quandri is opening a new office in Boston to serve U.S. clients and expanding its Vancouver headquarters to a 15,000-square-foot space.

We’ve believed in our vision from the start, and having new investors like Framework and Intact behind us gives us momentum. Their support validates the value we bring to brokerages and agencies and gives us the insight and resources to keep advancing the industry.

Quandri’s Renewal Intelligence Platform automates and streamlines the manual policy renewal process for insurance brokerages.

The platform enables teams to conduct policy reviews, identify actionable renewal insights, automate requoting, and improve client engagement. This contributes to stronger retention, improved customer experience, and increased revenue.

Key clients include BrokerLink, Western Financial Group, HomeServices Insurance Inc., and BlueRidge Risk Partners.

Quandri addresses a significant challenge in a legacy industry with a focused product and clear ROI. Its plans to scale across North America will make the platform available to thousands of brokerages and agencies in the personal lines insurance market.
