Revolut has completed a share sale establishing a company valuation of $115 bn, reflecting growing investor confidence in the fintech group’s international expansion and financial performance.
The transaction was led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, and Baillie Gifford, with participation from existing and new investors.
- Revolut completed a share sale valuing the company at $115 bn, approximately 53% above its previous $75 bn valuation.
- The transaction was led by Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, T. Rowe Price Associates and Baillie Gifford.
- The deal follows major banking expansion in 2026 and a 46% increase in annual revenue to $6 bn in 2025.
The valuation represents an increase of approximately 53% from the $75 bn established in a previous share sale in 2025.
The latest transaction involved the sale of existing shares, including employee holdings, rather than a primary capital raise that would inject new funding directly into Revolut.
The company, which serves more than 80 mn retail customers worldwide, said the transaction followed a year of significant progress in banking licences, international operations and profitability.
Revolut expands banking operations across international markets
The valuation increase comes as Revolut accelerates its transition from a financial technology platform into a banking group operating across multiple markets.
Since the beginning of 2026, the company has launched banking operations in the UK, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. It has also secured banking licences in France, Colombia and Argentina, strengthening its ability to expand regulated financial services in Europe and Latin America.
In the United States, Revolut received conditional approval for a national bank charter from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
The approval represents an important regulatory step toward establishing a US banking operation, although the company must satisfy the remaining conditions before commencing activities under the charter. These developments build on Revolut’s existing banking presence across 30 markets in the European Economic Area.
The expansion is part of the company’s longer-term objective of serving more than 100 mn active customers across over 100 countries.
Revenue and profit growth support valuation increase
Revolut’s financial performance has also strengthened ahead of the latest share transaction.
The company reported a 46% increase in revenue to $6 bn (£4.5 bn) in 2025, while pre-tax profit rose 57% to $2.3 bn (£1.7 bn).
Its pre-tax profit margin reached 38%, reflecting improved profitability as the business expanded its customer base and financial services.
The combination of revenue growth, profitability and progress in obtaining banking licences has supported investor interest in Revolut’s international strategy.
The latest transaction also provides an opportunity for employees holding shares to realise part of the value of their equity.
Revolut founder and CEO Nik Storonsky said employee ownership remained an important part of the company’s development and that the share sale allowed staff to benefit from the value created during its expansion.
He reiterated Revolut’s ambition to reach 100 mn customers as it continues entering new banking markets.
Chief Financial Officer Victor Stinga said the regulatory and operational milestones achieved in 2026 reflected several years of preparation. He added that the company’s expanding banking infrastructure would allow it to strengthen its services in established markets while reaching additional customers outside Europe.
The $115 bn valuation places Revolut among the world’s most highly valued privately held financial technology companies, as it pursues further banking expansion and increases competition with established financial institutions.
