Günter Geyer, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), has announced that he will not be available for reappointment after his current term ends.

His term as Chairman is set to conclude on May 24, 2024, coinciding with the Annual General Meeting for the 2023 financial year.

Geyer has been instrumental in shaping VIG into a leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe.

The process to elect a new Chair for the Supervisory Board is scheduled to take place at the constituent Supervisory Board meeting following the Annual General Meeting on May 24, 2024.
