Jan Spittka is a Partner in the Düsseldorf office with extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious data privacy and cybersecurity advice for clients.
Jan leads Clyde & Co’s Data Protection & Privacy practice in Germany and focuses on data protection matters involving international data transfers, incident response, regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, incident response preparedness and cyber insurance.
He regularly advises complex data-related issues like the introduction of new technologies and represents clients in proceedings before authorities and courts.
Jan has extensive experience in the IT sector, including digitalization and cloud computing projects and issues related to big data and artificial intelligence. He also advises on privacy issues related to the life sciences field.
