Key roles like underwriting and insurance claims are shifting, with greater emphasis on data analysis and machine learning.

Over 90% of insurers are investing in training programmes. These initiatives aim to equip employees with essential digital skills, ensuring their workforce remains competitive in the evolving insurance landscape.

The poll highlights data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) as critical areas for future insurance roles, with 80% of respondents identifying these as priorities.

Other key competencies include digital customer experience and cybersecurity, each cited by 60% of respondents. These skills aim to improve operational efficiency while addressing new challenges in the digital insurance era.
